Sanctuary Project Overview
Submitted by LoneBear on Wed, 2008-09-10 16:28Welcome to the Antiquatis Institute's Sanctuary Project, an ongoing development for the creation of a holistic life and lifestyle to assist in ushering in the next stage of the evolution of mankind. The Sanctuary Project was originally created in 1983 by Antiquatis founder Bruce Peret under the name of Breiðablik, the beautiful home of the Norse god, Baldr, described in Snorri Sturluson's Gylfaginning and the only place to survive Ragnarok, the destruction of the gods.
The original intent was to create an archive of knowledge—a Sanctuary for preservation—incorporated into a holistic community based on Utopian ideals, to preserve and provide that knowledge for future generations. As the project developed, it became apparent that the people interested in these concepts were not just the "average Joe", but had some unique and sometimes remarkable abilities. Sanctuary developed into a place for both the preservation of knowledge and the preservation of these unique people with a foothold on the next stage of man's evolution.
Though we call it "Sanctuary," it is not an escape or retreat—it is quite the opposite, where people try to push the evolutionary process of body, mind and spirit forward as an act of will, rather than just going along with the flow of predestination. The project was never "predestined" to exist; has been created as an act of free will by those participating in it. Sanctuary is a project to preserve what we have learned, and what is now developing in human culture… the homo novus, the "New Man", one of ethical character whom does not seek war and personal gain, but desires to live in peace with his fellow inhabitants and use his intellect and feelings to better the world and the advancement of consciousness on Earth.
There are currently two phases to the Project: the first we nicknamed "Hogwarts" after the Harry Potter novels and films, which is basically a school for teaching the metaphysics and magic. The second is the original project, Breiðablik, a self-sufficient, planned community for the preservation of knowledge and the research and development into the evolution of mankind and consciousness.
Phase 1: "Hogwarts"
Schools of Ancient and Arcane Wisdom
"The Masters and Saints working on the Right Hand Path began to collect the precious records and documents from the libraries of Lemuria. Each Master was chosen by the Council of the Great White Hierarchy to go to a different section of the world, where, in safety, he could set up a School of the Ancient and Arcane Wisdom. This was to preserve the scientific and spiritual knowledge of the past. At first, for many thousands of years, these schools were to remain a mystery to the inhabitants of the world; their teachings and meetings were to be secret. Hence, they are called even today Mystery Schools or the Shan-Gri-Las of Earth."
—Secrets of the Andes, George Hunt-Williamson
Over the course of the centuries, these schools have tended to drift into obscurity and be forgotten, or have been corrupted by those on the Left Hand Path, with the usual result of degeneration to ritual, ceremony and tribute.
The idea behind "Hogwarts" is to set up a new series of small, international schools to draw back together the teachers and students of old, who are currently incarnated with a drive to get this information back together, organized and presented to the muggles in a fashion that is simple and comprehensible, so the fear of the unknown can finally be removed.
For the more dedicated teachers and students, who wish to devote their life to the study and advancement of conscious and the human race, the second phase of the Sanctuary project is available.

Phase 2: Breiðablik
Living the Next Stage of Evolution
"There where Baldr has built his dwellings they call it Breiðablik; in that land where I know there are fewest evil things."
—Gylfaginning
One of the most notable features of the next generation of mankind is that they are not obsessed with the material side of existence. They quest is the truth, and material life is just a tool that is used to seek that truth.
The current"New World Odor" is merchant based. The only way it survives is through "economics", the buying and selling everything from food through people (yes, economic slavery is STILL slavery). For someone interested in the ethical and metaphysical realms, this is a very poor medium to grow in, and virtually impossible to thrive in. The idea behind Breiðablik is to create a fertile medium for this next level of evolution, a place that is not materially wealthy, but comfortable enough so survival is not a predominant issue. In order to interact with the merchantile system, it still requires a comprehensible structure. Research has indicated that the "monastery" may suit that role. It is also planned to be remote and unobtrusive; those who want the commercial system should not be bothered by those who don't, yet still be "good neighbors" at all times. As to where, in July 1957, "Master" El Morya stated:
“Those pilgrims who seek spiritual illumination and guidance from now on will be drawn to South America as they have been previously drawn into the Orient. To this end, the Directors of the Forces of Nature and the Elemental Kingdom are making preparation toward providing a natural means of access to this hitherto untapped spiritual Focus of Illumination in the Andes Mountains.”
It also turns out that a number of the founding members of Antiquatis also have had a pull towards South America, even though the hub of business is now in China. Perhaps the metaphysical aspect, once so strong in the Orient, is now being driven out by material desire. Our current plan, like the ancient Brotherhood of the Seven Rays, is to find a location in the Andes Mountains, where a self-sufficient community can be founded. Though we don't have any intent to be secret! There will be web sites, blogs and even webcams of the activities. We feel it is important to let others know that there is an "option" to living your life as an "employee."

Curriculum
Submitted by LoneBear on Wed, 2008-09-10 21:22The goal of "magic school" is to develop a process to increase consciousness in a person so that they reach the point of individuation, and can make a 3rd density choice. Once someone has gotten to that point, then they can choose their service path, to which we can provide specialized courses.
